Professional Experience, Human Understanding

About Me

Sofia’s professional experience spans hospital settings, public educational structures and private practice. This diverse background has provided her with experience supporting people through different stages of life, complex circumstances and significant periods of change.

Biography

I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and Psychotherapist with more than 15 years of clinical and psychotherapeutic experience. Throughout my professional journey, I have worked across hospital clinical settings, public educational structures and private practice, supporting individuals and families through a wide range of psychological and emotional challenges.

I hold a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Psychology and a Master of Science in Trauma and Disaster Management from universities in the United Kingdom, alongside postgraduate training in Cognitive Behavioral Psychotherapy (CBT) and Special Education.

My areas of experience include anxiety, trauma, life transitions, relationship difficulties and neurodiversity, including ASD and ADHD. I also provide psychological support to people navigating relocation and life abroad, as well as organizations facing critical incidents and challenging workplace situations.

My approach combines evidence-based psychological practice with compassion, respect and an understanding of each person’s unique circumstances. I believe that therapy should provide a safe, confidential and non-judgmental space where you can better understand yourself, develop practical tools and work towards meaningful change at your own pace.

Today, I provide online psychological support in English and Greek, making professional support accessible to individuals and couples across Europe.
